Dr Jeremy O'Brien gained his medical degree at Sydney University, completing in 1992 and spent 5 years undergoing surgical training in hospitals throughout NSW. Dr O'Brien has over 10 years experience in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. He recently transferred his practice from the Western Sydney Skin Cancer Clinic to Southern Sun Skin Cancer Clinic, Parramatta. He is more then happy to consult patients with any issues and concerns regarding skin cancers and their treatment.
Dr Stewart Precians graduated from The University of Sydney in 1975 and since then has done six years training work in various Sydney hospitals. He spent 12 years in general practice and in 1993 founded The Parramatta Skin Cancer Clinic which is now the Parramatta branch of Southernsun Skin Cancer Clinics. The Parramatta clinic is Australia's longest established primary care skin cancer clinic and Stewart is therefore one of Australia's longest practising and most experienced skin cancer primary care doctors.
Stewart has a Diploma in Dermatology with Merit from the University of Wales, a Certificate from The Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand and is a Member of the College. In 1999 Stewart was a member of the committee that prepared the initial "Clinical Practice Guidlines in the Management of Cutaneous Melanoma".
Stewart does skin cancer checks and examination of specific skin lesions and is experienced in the treatment of skin cancer and sun damaged skin by multiple methods including cryotherapy, creams including Efudix, Solaraze, Aldara and more, cautery, curette and cautery, shave excision and excision of unsightly moles and cysts, and full surgical excision ; he also does skin flaps and skin grafts when required.
Patients may see Stewart without a referral or on referral by their GP if the GP has a concern about a particular lesion.
